After his dream run in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022, Jos Buttler is enjoying his time away from the game and taking much-needed rest before the start of the ODI series against the Netherlands. Buttler, who isn’t a part of the Test squad now, isn’t playing the T20 Blast. He will next hit the field in the opening ODI against the Netherlands on June 17.
During his break time, Buttler took to social media and uploaded a pic from a stadium. Buttler’s pic drew the attention of his Rajasthan Royals teammates, Sanju Samson and Yuzvendra Chahal. The franchise also took note of the epic and shared it on Twitter.

The pic went viral in no time and has floored many users on the platform. In fact, some of the users have opined that the England cricketer might make his Hollywood debut soon.

Buttler is at peak of his form and might not have any plans for entering Hollywood til he plays the game. The right-handed batsman had a dream run in IPL 2022 and he piled up 863 runs in 17 matches. Buttler’s tally included 4 centuries and as many half-centuries.

He played a key role in RR making it to the 2nd round. In the 2nd qualifier, he remained unbeaten on 106 as RR chased down the target of 158 to make it to their first final since 2008. RR failed to defend a target of 131 in the final against Gujarat Titans. Buttler scored39 off 35 in the summit clash.

While Butler will be next seen in action on June 17, Samson is likely to make his on-field comeback during the Ireland tour. The wicketkeeper-batsman wasn’t included in the squad for the SA series. Chahal is leading the spin attack in the ongoing series.
