Harry Kane’s Tottenham Hotspur future appears to be becoming clearer amid reports linking him with a move away from north London.

The Spurs captain has been in impressive form once again this campaign, and overtook Premier League legend Thierry Henry’s goal tally as he netted his 176th goal in the division in Monday night’s thrashing of Frank Lampard’s Everton.

He now has 20 goals in all competitions for his side this season after being linked with a move to Manchester City last summer and rumors suggesting he could move to Manchester United this year if former Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino takes over at the Old Trafford outfit.

But the latest reports may show where the striker sees his own future.

It comes as Pochettino shared some very kind words about his former club ahead of Paris Saint-Germain’s Champions League tie with Real Madrid.

Spurs labeled ‘special club’

Mauricio Pochettino has labeled former side Spurs as a ‘special club’.

The Argentine was speaking ahead of Wednesday night’s Champions League tie against Real Madrid, which his Paris Saint-Germain side dramatically lost.

PSG had looked set for a place in the last eight at half-time with Kylian Mbappe on target again having scored the only goal at Parc des Princes last month.

But fellow Frenchman Benzema stole the show with a hat-trick after the break and his final two goals were separated by just 106 seconds in a 3-1 win that left Mauricio Pochettino’s men stunned with the pressure now ramped up on the former Tottenham boss.

The loss came after Poch admitted he still sees Tottenham as “his club” amid speculation about his future linking him with the Manchester United manager’s job.

Kane’s future becomes clearer

Harry Kane is set to snub a new contract at Tottenham Hotspur in favor of a move to Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City, it has been claimed.

Kane came close to joining Guardiola’s side last summer but Tottenham chief Daniel Levy refused to lower his demands for his talisman, scuppering the move.

And reports now suggest the Spurs captain continues to be keen on linking up with the former Barcelona and Bayern Munich boss at the Etihad Stadium – and could snub a new contract with Spurs to push though the move.

The player is said to be keen to win trophies before the end of his career and sees City as his best opportunity to do that, according to reports.

But it remains to be seen whether City would return with a bid for him this summer, amid claims thy are set to focus their efforts on bringing in Borussia Dortmund forward Erling Haaland.
