After a convincing win over the Rishabh Pant-led Indian team in the first T20I, South Africa will go into the second game of the five-match series with high morale. Temba Bavuma and Co. chased down the target of 212 runs in 19.1 overs for the loss of three wickets to start the series on a high, and they will now look to make it two wins in a row with another splendid performance in Cuttack.
For the visitors in the first match, middle-order batters David Miller and Rassie van der Dussen led the charge to take the side home. The duo added an unbeaten 131 runs for the fourth wicket and made a mockery of the Indian attack to give SA an edge. The South African team management will hope the duo will continue to excel in the upcoming matches as well.

Apart from the duo, opening batter Quinton de Kock, who finished as the third highest run getter in the recently concluded 2022 season of the Indian Premier League, and skipper Bavuma would also like to convert good starts into a big total. Ahead of the last game, star middle-order batter Aiden Markram was ruled out after testing COVID-19 positive, and he will miss the second game as well for the same reason.
