There is something special about the first Friday of the NCAA Tournament this year.
After 16 games on the men’s tournament Thursday, the women’s first-round begins Friday. That means there will be 32 Division I basketball games, starting at 11:30 am ET and going past midnight.
The No. 1 overall seed in the women’s tournament, South Carolina, will be in action. On the men’s side, two-seed Duke tips off against Cal State Fullerton as retirement for coach Mike Krzyzewski beckons.
