How much each club stands to win or lose in prize money

It’s set to be a dramatic final day of the Premier League season with everything left to play for, from the title race, to top-four permutations and even that final relegation spot.

Plenty of fans across the nation will be nervously sipping their morning coffee in anticipation for what might lie ahead for their beloved club today.

If you happen to support Manchester City, Liverpool, Burnley or Leeds you might be reaching for a beverage just a tad stronger as the action unfolds – those clubs in particular have so much riding on today’s fixtures.

It’s easy to presume, though, that for the clubs who aren’t chasing the title, a European place, or fighting to stay up, there is nothing left to play for.

But in fact, that statement couldn’t be any more untrue.

Besides the obvious of playing for pride and building momentum heading into next season. Premier League clubs are dished out prize money that rises and falls based upon each individual league position.

As things stand, each team could see a switch in their final placing come the end of today – although Chelsea would need a 19-goal swing to go against them in order to drop to fourth – which means there is still plenty at stake for all involved.

So, with that in mind, let’s take a look at how much prize money is on offer. (Information courtesy of 90min.com)
