Fremantle Dockers’ AFL Women’s coaching hunt down to two after six contenders interviewed

Fremantle’s AFL Women’s coach hunt is down to two including one who did not apply.

Six contenders were interviewed for the position last week, with four already saying they haven’t got it.

The West Australian understands several players will consider leaving the Dockers if former assistant Lisa Webb does not take the role after the club sensationally sacked Trent Cooper late last year.

Webb, who was an assistant at the Dockers for five years, is believed to have been approached by the club about the role and is yet to decide if she will take it.
