Indian cricketer Amit Mishra gave a befitting reply to Shahid Afridi after the Ex-Pakistan all-rounder posted a tweet in support of Kashmiri separatist leader Yasin Malik.
On Wednesday, May 25, the former Pakistan all-rounder took to Twitter to accuse India of silencing voices against human rights abuses. He added that the charges against Yasin Malik were fabricated. He also urged United Nations (UN) to look into the trials against the Kashmiri leaders.

“India’s continued attempts to silence critical voices against its blatant human right abuses are futile. Fabricated charges against #YasinMalik will not put a hold to # Kashmir’s struggle to freedom. Urging the #UN to take notice of unfair & illegal trails against Kashmir leaders, ”Shahid Afridi tweeted.

Notably, Malik had pleaded guilty of all charges, including those under the Unlawful Activities Prevention Act (UAPA), in the terror funding case. On May 19, it was directed to National Investigation Agency (NIA) authorities to evaluate the financial situation of the Kashmiri separatist leader so that a fine can be imposed on him.
Meanwhile, the National Investigation Agency has demanded the death penalty for convicted Kashmiri separatist leader Yasin Malik. Also, today the Delhi court is all set to declare its verdict on the quantum of punishment in the case.
Not everything is misleading like your birthdate – Amit Mishra replies to Shahid Afridi
Afridi was being bashed by the Indians after his comments on the Kashmiri separatist leader and later Indian cricketer Amit Mishra also came up with a tweet on this matter.
Mishra took a dig at Afridi’s age controversy and stated that everything is not misleading like his date of birth.
“Dear @safridiofficial he himself has pleaded guilty in court on the record. Not everything is misleading like your birthdate, ”Amit Mishra tweeted.

Notably, Afridi had made a revelation in 2019 that he was born in 1975 instead of 1980 as the official ICC records state. The confusion was increased when he had stated in his book di lui that he was 19 in 1996.
