Agent offered Wolves player to 3 ‘big’ clubs – ‘Talks underway’ for potential January deal

On Thursday, Alfredo Pedullà explained that Napoli like Adama Traoré and are very vigilant to his situation at Wolverhampton Wanderers.

It was also stated that the Premier League side have offered a new deal to the winger since their new manager, Julen Lopetegui, likes him. The 26-year-old has a deal expiring at the end of this season and has not yet responded to Wolves’ renewal offer.

The Spain international is represented by Jorge Mendes, who has good ties with a few Serie A sides, including the Naples club.

According to Area Napoli, the super-agent has been offering the Wolves player to ‘big’ Italian clubs like Luciano Spalletti’s side, Juventus and AC Milan.

Traoré has struggled to impress for Wolves this season, managing one league goal from 12 matches. The wideman’s contract expiring next June would help his suitors strike a low-cost deal.

It’s claimed ‘talks are underway’ with Juve and Milan to understand if a deal can be struck in the January window.

With regards to Napoli, a potential signing of the Wolves attacker will only be considered for next summer since they would first want to sort out Hirving Lozano’s future.

The Mexican’s contract expires in 2024 and a decision needs to be made whether to retain him or cash in from his sale after this season.
