Should Wolves sell Traore this month?
Wolves forked out a then-club record fee of £18million, per BBC Sportto lure Traore away from Championship side Middlesbrough in 2018.
But the former Aston Villa man has struggled for consistency at Molineux and found the back of the net 13 times, while racking up a further 18 assists, in 177 appearances.
Traore is still searching for his first goal contribution since Lopetegui moved into the Wolves hot seat, underlining his lack of productivity in the final third of the pitch.
He returned to the West Midlands in the summer, after Barcelona opted against taking advantage of a £29 million option to make his loan move permanent.
With it seeming unlikely that Traore will be signing a new contract, Wolves would be better off looking to cash-in during the final stages of the transfer window instead of potentially allowing him to walk away as a free agent in a matter of months.
